As the name suggests, the leak is precisely determined.

Procedure:

• Correlation measurements with the AquaScan correlator from Gutermann.
• Auscultation of the pipe by using an electronic listening stick or ground microphone. All accessible points that are directly connected to the water pipe, such as gate valves, hydrants and house connections, are auscultated and thus the leakage point is determined.
• The leak is located by introducing Helium gas 5.0 under pressure into the pipe. The non-flammable, non-toxic gas diffuses to the surface and is detected by a gas detector directly above the leak.
