Regular maintenance of the valve ensures the conservation of value of the investments made and provides safety in the whole water supply system.

Besides the logical necessity of maintenance, the periodic inspection is regulated by:

3.5.2 Inspections
Inspections of all valves, including those for flushing, draining, venting and releasing, must be carried out to ensure their discovery, operational readiness, functionality and that they are in the prescribed position (e.g. open, closed).
