Backflow prevention device

Function

The backflow prevention device is used to ensure drinking water quality in the entire pipe network by preventing non-potable water flowing back from outside/another network. Non-drinking water can flow back if there are pressure changes within the water supply networks which lead to a change in flow direction.

The backflow prevention device installed between a public water supply network and private consumer network creates a safe separation zone and ensures that water from one network does not come into contact with water from the other network.
