This year the ÖVGW also invited to their traditional fair, where we participated as exhibitors. Our company traveled to the Salzburg exhibition center with a team consisting of the managing directors Thomas Venhoda and Werner Donke, as well as Manfred Wagner, Arthur Schneider, Dieter Gärtner, Wolfgang Wiesinger and Thomas Neuhold. We received additional support from the managing director of 3S Antriebe GmbH, Axel Sacharowitz.
At our booth we presented our novelty, the S.CAP, as well as the Hawle.MAP and its functions. The direct live alerting of the S.CAP and also the visualization on the Hawle.MAP convinced many customers of the benefits of monitoring and digitalization in water supply.
In order to illustrate further options of digitalization, we presented a Clayton motorized position control valve CPC, with additionally mounted e-Lift 34 valve position transmitter, an e-Power IP and D22 control unit. In this way, Hawle Service GmbH was able to demonstrate that digitization and automation in our industry can also function autonomously in a shaft without an additional power supply.
The same direction was taken with the 3S actuator with battery pack, which enables wireless automation of gate valves without a shaft structure. In this way, gate valves can be subsequently automated without great effort. The live presentation of an automated slide gate at our booth gave customers a very application-oriented understanding of the function and design.
In addition, our leak detection specialist Dieter Gärtner was also able to explain and exhibit his products and services. Here, too, new contacts were made .
The fair was rounded off by presentations from the respective areas, as well as a festive evening event in the Residenz Salzburg.
Overall, it was a successful event with many customer discussions, which included our news presentations on the one hand, but also discussions about specific use cases on the other hand. Next year the ÖVGW fair will be held in Graz and Hawle Service GmbH will be represented again.
